Dr. Elizabeth Clarke is active as a performer, collaborator, and teacher. She holds a DMA in piano performance and an MM in music theory from Michigan State University, as well as piano performance degrees from the University of Victoria and University of Alberta, Augustana Campus. Her primary teachers were Panayis Lyras, Arthur Rowe, and Milton Schlosser.
Dr. Clarke has performed numerous solo and collaborative recitals in Canada and the United States, and in 2014 was featured as a concerto soloist with the University of Victoria orchestra. She has also worked as a collaborative pianist for singers and instrumentalists of all skill levels, and has extensive experience as a church music director and choir accompanist.
An experienced teacher, Dr. Clarke has held teaching and teaching assistant positions at Ambrose University (Calgary, AB), Bradley University (Peoria, IL), Michigan State University, and the University of Victoria. She also maintains a full private studio at Calgary Music Academy.
